FINNEGANS Announces Limited Time Beer Release to Support First Responders

FINNEGANS Brew Co., long known as the first beer company to donate 100% of profits back to the community, is brewing a new lager named Rescue + Recharge. A portion of proceeds will go to support Firefighters for Healing who in turn supports first responders and burn survivors. Rescue + Recharge Lager will be available to consumers November 1, 2020 at select Minnesota liquor stores. Visit to locate the nearest 12-pack of cans to you.

This brightly packaged, firefighter themed, limited time release kicks off the annual FINNEGAN’S Drink Like You Care campaign, where the company goes above and beyond their year-round community impact, allowing consumers to celebrate the holiday season knowing they’ve done a little extra good with each pint or purchase. Firefighters for Healing (F4H) is a Minneapolis based nonprofit that supports pediatric burn survivor patients and helps first responders pivot after an injury or medical diagnosis. Just like firefighters are called to be there for the community, F4H extends an extra level of care for patients and their families. Connected by geography and a do-good spirit, F4H provides temporary housing in the same block where FINNEGANS is located in Elliot Park further reinforcing the fact that this is a true community effort.

“Firefighters for Healing has been boots on the ground all year taking care of patient needs and supporting first responders. We are so thankful for FINNEGANS and their creativity, support and love of community,” said Executive Director Jake LaFerriere.

Rambunctious Social Entrepreneur, Jacquie Berglund, says, “FINNEGANS is thrilled to be partnering with Firefighters for Healing during our annual Drink Like You Care Campaign. They are a wonderful organization doing impactful work to support firefighters and people in the community severely impacted by burn trauma.”

The crisp clean lager is a classic beer, and at just 4.5% alc/vol a refreshing way to recharge after a long day. Communities are looking for ways to better connect and support each other more than ever. The response from municipal liquor stores has been fantastic. The portion of proceeds that will be donated is made possible in partnership with Northstar Mobile Canning and FINNEGANS Distributor partners. Visit to search for your local liquor store who has Rescue + Recharge 12-packs of 12 oz cans.
